First trailer for Kellan Lutz's 'Java Heat' released (Photos)

The first trailer for Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen in the Twilight Saga)'s newest film Java Heat is now online.

In the film, Lutz stars opposite Mickey Rourke as an American operative of some sort in Southeast Asia, who sets out to catch an embassy terrorist and finds himself neck deep in some pretty dangerous politics.

During an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in support of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1's release to DVD, Lutz talked about the fact that he suffered a few arm injuries doing his own stunts for a car flipping scene. In the trailer, it looks like a preview of that very scene is shown.

IFC Films picked up the distribution rights for the picture, per Deadline, with the intent of releasing the movie this year.

Java Heat is one of several projects Lutz has on the way, with Syrup and Tarzan 3D as two others.
