Today is the final day for voting in the MTV Movie Brawl 2013 tourney. The highly anticipated “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” is up against the Hunger Games sequel, “Catching Fire” in the final round. It is amazing that the final round this year is between two YA book to film adaptations. This only continues to show how fans support seeing amazing YA stories brought to the big screen. “I think it’s important to remember that whoever wins this round, the Movie Brawl will be won by a movie with a strong female main character at its heart, and that is an achievement,” says Mortal Instruments author Cassandra Clare.
Since the tournament’s start “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” has taken on a number of anticipated 2013 films including “Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” “Carrie” and “Spring Breakers.” The winner will be announced this evening at the tourney’s close but Mortal Instruments fans have a good history of prevailing in most voting events. Don’t forget to vote today!
