Some rumored details have popped up online in regards to the potential PS4 release of the upcoming multiplatform title, “Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.” According to a report by the NeoGAF forum on March 5, customers who purchased the PS3 version of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game can download the PS4 port at no extra charge. Furthermore, Square Enix won’t be releasing a physical copy of the title for the next-generation system. You can check out some screens from the video game in the slideshow at the top of this article.
Square Enix previously stated that they would consider a port of “Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn” to the PS4 after the development of the PS3 version is completed. In addition to the current-generation console, the reboot of “Final Fantasy XIV” is also coming out for the PC sometime later this year in North America. The game is being developed by Square Enix Product Development Division 3 and published by Square Enix. You can pre-order the title in the following link: “Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn”
