A possible release date may have been revealed for the upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive title, “Final Fantasy Versus XIII.” According to a report by Super PolyPixel on March 15, a release date checklist for Playstation 3 from the retailer, GameStop, has been leaked. The action role-playing game was featured in the list with a release date of June 30, 2013. “Final Fantasy Versus XIII,” which was announced first announced in 2006, has been stuck in development for multiple years with no apparent end in sight. Square Enix, who is developing and publishing the “Final Fantasy XIII” spin-off title, has provided very little information on the project.
Recent rumors and speculations suggest that the action combat system and open-world gameplay of “Final Fantasy Versus XIII” have been scaled back from what was originally shown.
