‘Final Fantasy Type-0’ HD version for PS3 discussed by game director (Photos)

Hajime Tabata has commented about the possibility of a high-definition version of the PSP video game, “Final Fantasy Type-0.” According to report by Playstation Universe on March 15, the game director at Square Enix disclosed that they experimented with playing the action role-playing game on a high-definition television set. However, the currently have no plans on releasing a console version. You can check out some screens from the title in the slideshow at the top of this article.

Several PSP video games (“God of War: Ghost of Sparta,” “God of War: Chains of Olympus” and “Monster Hunter Portable 3rd”) have already made the jump from the portable system to the Playstation 3 console.

“Final Fantasy Type-0” was originally named “Final Fantasy Agito XIII” when it was first announced in 2006. The spin-off title from the “Final Fantasy” franchise was released by Square Enix exclusively for the PSP system in Japan on Oct. 27, 2011. A North American release date has not yet been announced.
