The Town of Farragut has been considering an ordinance to rescind their ban on permit holders carrying a handgun in Farragut parks. They will vote on the ordinance this Thursday, October 24.

All who are interested in restoring your right to meaningful personal defense should plan on attending to show your support for removing the ban.

In America, we operate politically under the notion that the majority rules, when in fact, it is the biggest minority that shows up that makes the rules. Be sure and attend to show your support. Don't let leftist gun-banners win this one.

Alderman Bob Markli has been diligent to advance our cause in Farragut. He appeals to all patriots and gun rights advocates in his email:

Dear Farragut patriot,

Thanks to the efforts of many Farragut citizens, a new ordinance rescinding the ban on lawful permit carry permit holders exercising their right in Farragut parks is on the Board of Mayor and Aldermen agenda for this Thursday evening October 24 at 7:00PM. I hope that all of you who supported this cause will make an effort to be there to encourage your representatives to vote correctly on this ordinance and show your support for it. I feel confident it will pass, but don't want to take any chances on losing this opportunity or seeing it co-opted by a turnout of anti-gun activists at the last minute.

Thank you again for your support. Please also invite any like-minded friends, neighbors, church members, co-workers, etc. who could support this initiative. Hope to see you there.

Yours for liberty,
Bob Markli

The meeting is Thursday evening at Farragut Town Hall. Plan to be there at 7:00 p.m. If at all possible, be there!
