Sarai Sierra is a New York based woman who went missing during her vacation in Turkey, which was supposedly her first trip outside the United States.
According to reports on Jan. 27, 2013, the family of this 33-year-old missing lady was in touch with her on Monday, which is day when Sierra was supposed to commence her journey back home.
Reportedly, Sierra who is a mother of two children has been vacationing in Turkey on her own since Jan. 7, 2013.
Now the relatives of Sierra, specifically her husband Steven and her brother David Jimenez, are heading for Istanbul to look for the missing lady.
The two were supposed to leave for Turkey last Sunday and had not planned their return date.
In her last conversation with her mother, Sierra said that she planned to visit Galata Bridge to click some pictures before heading home to NYC and was supposed to reach the city by Tuesday morning but did not show up.
On inquiring further, it was discovered that Sierra’s passport and luggage are still at the hostel where she was staying in Istanbul.
Since then Sierra's family has been in touch with authorities searching for her in the city and has now decided to head to Turkey to find her soon.
