Faith Hill wore braces to the 2013 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 10). Hill was seen wearing them as she arrived at the show as well as when she presented during the award show. According to a report from Sunday, Hill was wearing them for the second time in her life.
Talking about why she was wearing them, Hill stated that, "I had braces as a kid. I forgot to wear my retainer." She also had some advice for anyone else wearing braces, as she stated, "kids, wear your retainer!" It's an important message from Hill, especially because daughter Gracie and Maggie are both wearing them as well.
Many country music fans were probably surprised to see them, but she was also seen wearing them on Friday (Feb. 8) when she arrived at the 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala honoring Bruce Springsteen at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Quite a few pictures from the event were going around the internet as they blended well with her dress from the night. The first appearance of the Faith Hill braces was at the Country Music Awards, though, when she shocked a lot of people.
Hill has always been known for her smile, so that has added to the surprise many felt at the Grammy Awards, but she is proving that taking care of your teeth doesn't stop when you become an adult.
