Entertainment Weekly debuted the book trailer for Cassandra Clare’s ‘Clockwork Princess’ today (Click here to see the trailer.) Model and actress Kiersten Brada plays Tessa Grey in both the book cover and the book trailer. Get to the girl behind both projects in this exclusive interview.

How did you become part of this project?
I was cast as the cover model for the book :) It was really fun shooting the cover, but I had no idea how popular this book series was. I wasn’t until the cover art was released and it trended worldwide on Twitter that I realized that I was a part of something big. Later I was asked to shoot the video too, and I jumped at the chance to play Tessa again. I feel very blessed to be a part of it.
Cassandra Clare has said that you were also the model for the "Clockwork Princess" book cover. What has it been like portraying Tessa now in two projects?
I’ve loved the experience of portraying Tessa's character in both projects. It's amazing to hear such nice feedback from the fans about the cover, and I can’t wait to see what people think of the video! It's all very exciting :)
How do you most relate to your character?
I can relate to her because we’re both young, wide-eyed romantics. We both care a lot about the people we love and would do anything for them. Tessa seems like a very interesting character, and it’s strange to think that some people reading the book might picture my face while imagining her. I'm so flattered and grateful for the opportunity
How do you least relate to your character?
We were born in different eras, so I imagine our lives are quite different. But then again, I guess that’s part of what makes Tessa so fascinating to readers.
What has been your favorite aspect of working on this project?
I really loved working with the team at Dirty Robber, who produced the trailer. They were all very creative and talented, and it was an honor to shoot this with them. We were hard at work, but there was also a lot of joking around. They’re just a fun group of people. It was a blast.
Did you get to read any of "Clockwork Princess" and what were your thoughts on it?
Unfortunately, I haven’t read the book, but like many of the readers, I’ve already pre-ordered the First Edition. It’s a collector’s item! :) Just based on the script for the video trailer though, I fell in love with the story. It leaves you on a cliffhanger, so I can't wait to get my hands on the book to find out what happens!
What was your favorite scene?
My favorite scene from the trailer was kissing one of the actors. He kind of looks like Edward Cullen from Twilight, so I got to live out a little fantasy of mine. Haha. I totally have a crush. Shhhhhh. Don't tell him.
What do you think fans will love most about this trailer?
I think they'll love seeing Tessa interact with both of the boys from the book. It’s a very sweet but complicated love story that really tugs at your heart.
What do you think fans will be surprised about in this trailer?
I think fans will be surprised to discover there’s a twist at the end. It leaves you wanting more, and it almost becomes torture to wait until the book comes out!
