Swedish EDM artist ESQUILLE is back with Rock This Club Down, a 5 cut EP that is full of electronic goodies. The opener is steeped in electronic house flavor and offers the usual fare that ESQUILLE provides, an active sonic landscape immersed in a club technique that is moving and memorable. "Música Electrónica" is a subdued tonic that is one of the best electronic dance songs to emerge in awhile. It is chill and house at the same time.
ESQUILLE returns to the edgier vibe exhibited in the opener on "Don't Stop the Rhythm." While ESQUILLE needs no introduction in the world of music for dancing and hype, this track portrays a lively innovation similar to that of "I Take U Higher," one of his biggest charters worldwide. "Moven Up," is full of power and is both readio and club ready. The speakers were treated to a sensational trance trip with this song. The finale, "House Thing," feels 90's ish with the vocals of "it's a house thing" echoing throughout.
ESQUILLE is a very respected artist who has had many projects and collaborations including Dreamland, Jam Planet, Magic Key and the A Trip in Trance compilation series in addition to solo material. ESQUILLE took a brief period away from music and noted that since his return, he has "never felt so creative. I'm very proud to present my new EP with five of my best dance tracks written over the past year. I've put a lot of energy and soul into them so I hope you love them." If the Rock This Club Down EP is any indication of what ESQUILLE has been working on, the electronic industry has much to look forward to.
