Update: Pet Connect Us has posted the following great news:

Blu was ADOPTED! Thank you to Cathie Ingold (and her family) who will pick up Blu on Monday after his neuter surgery. I hope Blu has a fantastic life and never feels fear and abandonment again.

On May 10, a woman at the Moreno Valley Animal Services facility in Calif., bore witness to a heartbreaking scene...a young man was surrendering his year old pit bull, "Blu" who was crying for his soon-to-be departing owner.

The young man offered soothing words to the distraught dog - he repeated the words, "it will be okay, it will be okay." Perhaps the young man did not know...or perhaps he could not bear to consider it...but a pit bull at an animal control facility (especially in the ever-crowded California facilities) is not safe and it will not be "okay."

Blu is now alone at the facility - one of far too many dogs who need to find a place to go. Please take a moment to network Blu's information - before he is lost forever.
