Emma Watson was seen on the MTV Movie Awards and her new movie trailer had the fans glued to their seats on Sunday night. The first look with the trailer of The Perks of Being a Wallflower was shown to the masses and dissected by the fans. With Emma Watson as one of the lead characters, many fans were elated to once again see the starlet back on screen, even if it was only for a brief moment.
As the film explores the high school setting in America, it appears that Emma Watson’s high school experience wasn't like the film. Going to school in England instead of America, the young woman found herself in a positive position while learning.
“I always went back into school. I always took time off from school and I always went back. I had a positive experience but I think high school is a different thing altogether and I can see how it can be pretty brutal,” said Emma Watson on the red carpet of the MTV Movie Awards. “I think the movie depicts what it is really like well.”
The difference between the two cultures does influence how the high schools are set up and as Emma suggests, provides different outcomes. However even if she did have a great high school experience, there isn’t any doubt her acting in this film shows a teen in anguish over dealing with the daily routines of high school.
