Elin Nordegren says Michael Jordan turned Tiger Woods into a cheater

According to a recent article in the National Enquirer, Elin Nordegren warned Michael Jordan’s fianceé, Yvette Prieto, that marrying him, would be a big mistake, because it was Michael Jordan who taught his golf buddy, Tiger Woods, how to cheat on his wife.

Elin, who is a close friend of Cuban model Yvette Prieto, reportedly became highly upset when she learned that Yvette and Michael were officially engaged, because she feels that Michael, who has a reputation as a world-class cheater, played an instrumental part in Tiger Woods having numerous affairs.

Yvette’s engagement to Michael Jordan, who is part owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, was first reported byWCNC in Charlotte, North Carolina, though no wedding date has yet been set.

However, despite the fact that Yvette has been dating Michael for almost 3 years, Elin Nordegren is sincerely worried that her friend may get hurt, because she is firmly convinced that Tiger’s infidelity was largely Michael Jordan’s fault.

Why Elin Feels Tiger Woods’ Infidelity was Michael Jordan’s Fault

Michael and Tiger are (or at least were, at one time) golfing and gambling buddies.

According to the National Enquirer’s source, Elin blames Michael Jordan for leading Tiger astray, because she believes Tiger’s cheating began when he started hanging out with Michael, who was constantly on the prowl.

Elin is convinced in her mind that Tiger, either picked up, or was encouraged to emulate, Michael Jordan’s cheating ways.

When Michael’s multiple extramarital affairs became public knowledge, it led to the sports world’s most expensive divorce, with a settlement of $168 million to Juanita Vanoy, Michael’s wife of 17 years.

Tiger’s former Attorney Agrees with Elin Nordegren

Tiger’s ex-wife, Elin Nordegren isn’t the only one who believes that Michael Jordan led Tiger Woods astray.

Tiger Woods former advisor, and attorney, John Merchant also agrees, and shared is view on the matter in an article in the May 2010 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

Tiger frequently hung out in Las Vegas with Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley, a fact confirmed by the New York Post and the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Merchant says he warned Tiger Woods to stay away from Jordan and Barkley because they had nothing to offer him, but apparently Tiger looked up to them, and he ignored Merchant’s advice.

Both Elin Nordegren and John Merchant are certain that Michael Jordan aided and abetted Tiger’s extramarital affairs.

Elin’s Warning to Her Friend, Yvette, Falls on Deaf Ears

Elin struck up a friendship with Yvette Prieto at the Presidents Cup golf tournament 2009 in California, while she was still married to Tiger Woods.

The two women gravitated towards each other because both lived in Florida, and both were former models in relationships with sports superstars, who also happened to be good friends. According to the Palm Beach Post, Yvette and Michael purchased a house together in Miami, where they currently live.

According to the National Enquirer, Elin and Yvette continued to stay in touch, and Yvette was there for Elin when the Tiger Woods infidelity scandal was at its peak.

Now Elin is making every effort to try to keep her friend from experiencing the same kind of hurt, humiliation and heartbreak she went through with Tiger Woods. Elin is convinced that Michael Jordan will cheat on Yvette just like he cheated on his ex-wife.

However, after dating Michael Jordan for 3 years, and living with him, Yvette’s heart is set on walking down the aisle, so she is ignoring her friend, Elin’s advice.

Now that Tiger’s infidelity scandal and multiple mistresses have become history, Elin reportedly says she remembers little things that should have tipped her off that Tiger was having extramarital affairs.
