Eagle attacking deer video has gone viral. A Golden eagle was captured by a camera trap attacking a Sika deer in Lazovskii State Nature Reserve in Primorye,Russia. According to Fox News St. Louis on Sept. 25, the deer's carcass was found near the camera but no other predator tracks were found in the snow.
Confused, they went back and checked the photos during the routine memory card and battery change.
This revealed the photos that were compiled into the eagle attacking deer video. Three images were captured over a 2-second period. The deer carcass was found 2 weeks later when the camera trap was checked. The photos of the eagle attack amazed the researchers and that no other predator tracks were found near the dead deer even weeks later.
When the deer was found it appeared that it just dropped dead in its tracks and fell into the snow. After returning to camp the researchers checked the camera memory card and found the alarming images and started to put together what had actually happened.
Eagle attacking deer video compilation from was originally reported by Journal of Raptor Research according to Nature World News. The camera trap was set up with the intention of capturing photos of endangered Siberian tigers.
