Catt Sadler maintains her sizzling good looks by following a healthy diet and working out regularly. In an exclusive interview Jan. 22, the E! News anchor revealed her red-carpet fitness and beauty secrets.
Catt, a happily married mother of two, said eating well is the most important ingredient for looking and feeling your best.
"I work hard at being healthy," said Sadler, who's a pescatarian (a vegetarian who occasionally eats fish). "I really watch what I put into my body."
Sadler said she feels more energetic since switching to a mostly vegetarian diet. Catt's husband, British film producer, Rhys David Thomas, is also a vegetarian.
The willowy Sadler, who's naturally skinny, didn't become serious about working out until a few years ago. She's not obsessive about exercise, but makes sure she stays active.
Last year, Catt really got into running, and completed the San Francisco half-marathon. She said finishing the race was one of the toughest experiences of her life, but also one of the most fulfilling. "It was one of the hardest physical challenges I've ever done," she said. "But it was so rewarding."
These days, Sadler continues to run regularly, but focuses more on hot yoga workouts. "I go to one or two hot yoga classes a week," she said. "It's so good for your skin and internal organs."
Because of her busy schedule, Sadler sometimes work outs at home, and said she prefers the Tracy Anderson method. Her beauty secrets include lots of moisturizer and daily sunscreen use. But her No. 1 beauty tip is a sensible diet and regular exercise. "When I'm working out and eating well, that's when I feel my best," she said.
Catt, who's in the middle of the hectic Hollywood awards season, has partnered with Progresso for the ProgressOh! Makeover Contest.
The contest gives three fans a trip for two to Los Angeles and a head-to-toe makeover that includes accommodations for four days, a $1000 gift card, and two tickets to a taping of E! "Fashion Police." The contest expires on Feb. 28.
Sadler, who acknowledges how hard it is to juggle motherhood and a successful career, hopes the contest will give three deserving fans the chance to feel like a Hollywood celebrity. "Every woman deserves to feel like a red-carpet star," she said.
