According to E! News Online on Dec. 31, "Dancing With the Stars" head judge Len Goodman, 68, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Sue Barrett, 47, in London on Sunday, Dec. 30. The couple has been dating for more than 10 years.
It was a small, quiet ceremony attended by about 30 family members and friends. This is Len Goodman's third marriage. Len is obviously very happy about having Sue Barrett as his wife.
"I've had a marvelous day, and now my gorgeous Sue is the new Mrs. Goodman," the 68-year-old newlywed told the Daily Mail. "I wanted it to be a low-key affair, so we didn't tell anyone except my 96-year-old mum as I didn't want her having a heart attack with the surprise."
For those not intimately familiar with "Dancing With the Stars," Len Goodman is the judge in the center of the table, the older gentleman who is often referred to as grumpy or crabby. He's been a judge on the show since the beginning. He also judges "Strictly Come Dancing," the original UK version of DWTS.
Len Goodman has been a professional dancer and dance teacher. He now owns his own dance school in Kent, England, the place he now calls home. He has been awarded the British Rising Star Award, the Carl Allen Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work in dance.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Goodman!
