She's America's sweetheart, the adorably bright, bubbly little girl who believed in "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" and then grew up to play roles like "Ever After - A Cinderella Story" and "Never Been Kissed." And now, reports E Online, Drew is planning to write a book about her true love: Heart symbols.
Drew will release her first book of photos, "Find It in Everything," on Jan. 14 (Amazon presale began August 22 - click for details.) Featured in the 96-page book: Drew's photographs of heart-shaped objects taken during the last decade. "I have always loved hearts," Drew reflects. "The way that one continuous line accomplishes the most extraordinary thing—it conveys love. Hearts are my beacons. I love them man-made and natural, young and old." So what does her heart-felt love of heart symbols means?
"Likely the most common symbol for love and certainly the most recognizable is the Heart symbol," report the experts at What's Your Sign. "The Heart has long been recognized across cultures as being a symbol for charity, joy and compassion." It's also symbolic of the love that children feel: Whole, sincere, pure - in fact, it's one of the first symbols that children learn to draw. Which is fitting for Drew, who follows a holistic diet designed for her by holistic nutritionist Kimberly Snyder, according to People magazine.
