‘Dragon’s Crown’ release date possibly revealed for PS3 and Vita

The release date may have been revealed for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Dragon’s Crown.” Amazon has updated the pre-order pages on Feb. 28 for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita versions, revealing that the 2D action role-playing game will be coming out on Aug. 6. “Dragon’s Crown” is currently being developed by Vanillaware, the same studio that previously worked on “Odin Sphere” for the Playstation 2 as well as “Muramasa: The Demon Blade” for the Nintendo Wii. Atlus took over the publishing duties for the 2D action role-playing game from UTV Ignition Games and is also helping out in the development process.

“Dragon’s Crown,” which was originally scheduled to come out in the spring of 2012, has a price tag of $49.99 on the Playstation 3 in addition to $39.99 on the Playstation Vita.
