According to the Christian Post on Dec. 7, Dr. David Jeremiah released the Jeremiah Study Bible in New York in the presence of thousands at Madison Square Garden last Thursday night.

Dr. Jeremiah is a conservative evangelical Christian author, televangelist, and currently the senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church, an evangelical megachurch in El Cajon, California, a suburb of San Diego.

The Jeremiah Study Bible is the culmination of the 72-year-old Southern Baptist pastor's more than 40 years in ministry.

"A Night of Celebration with David Jeremiah & Friends" was organized Dr. Jeremiah's Turning Point Ministries. The event brought in thousands of family members, friends and ministry supporters of the popular preacher including Donald Trump and Kobe Bryant. The Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers performed.

During his remarks, Dr. Jeremiah told the audience:

"Tonight, we are celebrating the completion and publication of the Jeremiah Study Bible. This is the culmination of a lifetime of teaching and studying the Word of God. Over these many years I have watched this book and the Savior it presents permanently change the lives of people. And it is my prayer that the study Bible introduced on this night will encourage you to make the study of God's Word a priority in your life."

Dr. Jeremiah offered a blessing to those who would read the Jeremiah Study Bible. He prayed that the "words of the Bible would fill your memory, rule your heart, guide your feet." Then he gave a suggestion for getting the most from the Jeremiah Study Bible: "Read it slowly and frequently and prayerfully."
