Doughbeezy - The Southeast Beast

I would be remiss as the Houston Hip Hop Examiner if I didn’t write a piece on Doughbeezy the self proclaimed “H-Town Hero.” Doughbeezy, a local Houston rapper is setting the bar for all Houston rappers. I first heard of Dough when I moved back to Houston in 2010. Then he dropped “Reggie Bush and Kool Aid” and I was an instant fan. “Pass The Swisher, HAM, In The Morning… I might as well say that that whole mixtape was awesome! Kab The Don said it right when he said “H-Town wake up it’s a new day” on Blow Up. After Reggie Bush and Kool Aid Doughbeezy dropped Blue Magic. Just when we thought he couldn’t top RBAK he did. On the title song “Blue Magic” he proves that he’s the next big rapper out of Houston. I have to say that I love Doughbeezy and I’m rooting for him to go all the way! He represents Houston in a way that hasn’t been done in the past. Check out www.Doughbeezy.com to keep up with Dough. Mark my words Doughbeezy is about to take the world by storm. Follow him on Twitter at @Doughbeezy.
