On Wednesday night’s “Big Brother” one nominated house guest won the Power of Veto and used the medallion to save himself from the eviction block. The week 7 Head of Household was then required to nominate another cast mate to replace him and left that player feeling slighted. On the Aug. 14, 2014 eviction show, one of the nominated contestants will be sent to jury by their fellow house guests during a live vote.

Zach, who was nominated alongside Donny for eviction by Christine, was victorious in the OTEV POV challenge Wednesday. He saved himself from the block and Christine replaced him with her once BFF Nicole. Now either Donny or Nicole will become the third member of the “Big Brother” season 16 jury.

On the same show, Frankie was seen telling the others he is a “social media mogul,” his sister is “mega mega pop star” Ariana Grande, and if he is the “Big Brother” 16 winner he is giving the money to charity. The other contestants seemed to have mixed emotions about his revelations, with some believing they had no chance at the game because of Frankie’s popularity and philanthropic intent and others thinking his status made no difference in the game.

Also seen on the Aug. 13 episode, Team America, consisting of Donny, Frankie, and Derrick opted out of their current challenge to work together to convince another player to sit on the eviction block as a pawn and them get them evicted. This is the third consecutive challenge the three men have failed or decided not to engage in. The first failure was an attempt to get two house guests to have an argument at either the nomination ceremony or the Veto meeting. The other challenge they decided not to do required Team America members to vote against most of the house during an eviction and then publicly blame two other players for doing it.
