While much attention has been given to the fact that President Ronald Reagan granted amnesty to illegal aliens in 1986, none is ever given to the multitude of amnesty measures which President Bill Clinton signed into law.
The following is a list of amnesties granted to illegal aliens by President Clinton:
-In 1994, an amnesty for illegal aliens (Section 245 (i)) was added to the FY 1995 Commerce, Justice, State Appropriations bill. The rolling amnesty ended on September 30, 1997, and resulted in 578,000 illegal aliens being granted permanent legal status.
- The Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act (NACARA) Amnesty of 1997, granted amnesty to 1,000,000 illegal aliens from Central America.
-The Haitian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act Amnesty (HRIFA) of 1998, granted amnesty to 125,000 illegal aliens from Haiti.
- In 2000, amnesty was granted to about 400,000 illegal aliens who claimed they should have been amnestied, but were not under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
-Legal Immigration Family Equity (LIFE) Act Amnesty of 2000 removed deportation orders and/or granted permanent legal residency to an estimated 900,000 illegal aliens.
While it is never reported on, nor spoken of in today’s ongoing debate on illegal immigration, Bill Clinton granted amnesty to at least 3,000,000 illegal aliens and with his actions--undoubtedly encouraged millions more to enter the U.S. illegally.

Gotta love our leaders....if something benefits them and their buddies, the American People don't matter in the least!!!!! I cannot fathom their thinking in placing our lives in such chaos!!! How anyone can sleep at night with the knowing they have jeopardized their own people, country and system is beyond me.
Among the other obvious burdens illegals are allowed to place on our shoulders, now our land and waters are being invaded by foreign species, new (and old) diseases are spreading and illegals demand we allow them access to our schools of higher learning...on American taxpayers dimes!!!!!

There should be a law stating ANY elected official who disregards the will of the people, shoud be ousted immediately for breach of oath, acts of treason and dereliction of duty. Their MAIN job in office is protecting us by applying the laws of the land....this land...not other lands.
How dare ANYONE sit in a high office and finagle our ways of life....they are supposed to represent WE, the People...not THEY, the Invaders!!!!!
I agree with weary knight. We are being betrayed by our own leaders. These rich men on top. Do not understand that they are allowing our country to be taken over. It's bad enough to see so many American's sit back like nothing is happening. I voted for Meg Whitman for this reason. You can call her all the names you want, but she seemed to truly be concerned about these illegal taking over our country. I have been democrat all my life but I changed in the last election. BLACK PEOPLE stop acting like everything is going to be o.k. cause it is not. It is getting worse everyday. You are being pushed further and further back. You will be fighting for your civil rights again. Next time it won't be because of the white man. It will be the illegals who are taking your jobs and "hiring their own". There were people in the us in l986 up till l987 that could have been granted amnesty by Reagan.
also Clinton picked up the tab and granted amnesty to the remainder totaling 3 million. How do these people claim their residency or citizenship if they did not know they received it?
I do remember this, the last time the INS buses came to Alabama and loaded up illegal aliens was when Clinton was president.
