The Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) is a holiday celebrated in the Mexican culture when family and friends gather to pray for and remember those who have died. As part of this weekend’s Ripe: A Spirited Market at Éilan Sustenio will host a Dia del los Muertos themed cooking class with celebrity chef Stephan Pyles.
This cooking class will be held in the demonstration kitchen which will be beautifully decorated for the occasion. Guests will sample each dish that is being prepared during the step by step demonstrations and enjoy pairings with white and red wine. Guaranteed to be a time of celebration and education guests will get a full menu’s worth of ideas to make their own Dia de los Muertos celebration a delicious success.

- Sopa Verde with Shrimp Ceviche
- Braised Rabbit with Chochoyones and Mole Coloradito
- Frijoles Negros de Santiago

- Cinnamon Empanada with Praline Mascarpone,
- Candied Pumpkin and Cajeta
