Demi Lovato and Fifth Harmony reunite at Topshop in Los Angeles

On Feb. 12, 2013, Demi Lovato reunited with Fifth Harmony for a promotional appearance at Topshop in Los Angeles (at The Grove shopping center), where Lovato helped style Fifth Harmony in Topshop clothing. On Dec. 19, 2012, Lovato and Fifth Harmony teamed up to perform Lovato's "Give Your Heart a Break" in the second-season finale of "The X Factor" U.S.

Fifth Harmony came in third place on "The X Factor" U.S. in 2012. As previously reported, Fifth Harmony is signed to Syco Music/Epic Records, which will release Fifth Harmony's debut album in 2013 on a date to be announced. In February 2013, Fifth Harmony began working on the album, which is executive produced by Julian Bunetta. The album will also feature collaborations with songwriters Autumn Rowe and Lil’ Eddie.

Lovato, 20, became a judge on "The X Factor" U.S. in May 2012. It has not been announced yet if she will continue to be a judge on the show in 2013. In an interview with "Extra" that aired on Feb. 13, 2013, she said: "I'm focusing on my music this year, so it's going to be a lot of touring, a lot of promoting of my album … but I would love to. Obviously, if they asked for me to come back, I'd say yes.”

The complete judging panel "The X Factor" U.S. in 2013 has not been announced yet. On "The X Factor" U.S., executive producer Simon Cowell is the only judge guaranteed so far in 2013. Britney Spears and Antonio "L.A." Reid have announced their departures from "The X Factor" U.S., and their replacements have not yet been named.

Lovato commented to "Extra" on which star she would like to replace Spears on "The X Factor" U.S. judging panel: “I would love to see Lady Gaga. I don't know if that is possible or not." Lady Gaga being an "X Factor" judge is highly unlikely, since she is loyal to "American Idol" resident mentor Jimmy Iovine, the Interscope Geffen A&M chairman who helped make Lady Gaga a star. Lady Gaga is also too expensive for "The X Factor," since sources say that the show will not be spending the same kind of money on a new judge that the show paid Spears, whose "X Factor" salary was reportedly $15 million.

The 2013 judging panel for the show should be officially announced by May, which is the month that auditions begin in front of the judges. "X Factor" producers, not the judges, make the selections at auditions that happen before the selected contestants go on to audition in front of the judges.

While Lovato waits to hear if she will be asked back on "The X Factor" U.S., she will perform at the grand opening of Topshop in Los Angeles on Feb. 14, 2013. She also has two concerts scheduled for March 2013: Universal Studios Orlando in Florida on March 6 and Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines on March 20.

Lovato tweeted about her Topshop performance: "Just got a sneak peek of the new @TopShop and it's amazing!!! Cannot wait until Thursday - see you there!!"

As previously reported, Lovato is one of the stars participating in CBS's "The Price Is Right" Celebrity Week that will be televised from February 18 to February 22, 2013. The celebrities on the game show are playing for their selected charities. Lovato's "Price Is Right" episode airs on February 22, 2013. She is playing for the charity Free the Children.

In her interview with "Extra," Lovato confirmed how she recently injured her right leg: "I slipped and fell in my living room and, God bless my roommate, but she's not used to cleaning and so she actually Pledged the floors ... Needless to say that didn't go very well."

In January 2013, it was revealed that Lovato has been living in a sober house since 2012 with other roommates in recovery. She has been very open about discussing her recovery from eating disorders, substance abuse and self-harming. She also gone public about being bipolar.

In January 2013, Lovato (who is signed to Hollywood Records) tweeted that she has been recording her fourth album, whose title and release date are to be announced.

According to "Extra," Lovato had to do a photo shoot for her single "Heart Attack" just hours after she her leg was injured: "Thank God I went, because it's my favorite photo shoot I've ever done and they were able to shoot it so you don't see my foot."

"Heart Attack" will be released on March 4, 2013. The music video for the song was supposed to premiere on Feb. 13, 2013, but the premiere has been postponed to a date to be announced. In the meantime, a trailer for "Heart Attack" has been released on Lovato's official YouTube channel.
