For the second time in the past two weeks, a new resort debuted today, Sept. 2 on the Las Vegas Strip. Delano Las Vegas is non-gaming hotel that is bringing a little touch of South Beach to Las Vegas. Operated by Morgans Hotel Group, the non-smoking, non-gaming resort hopes to appeal to the "in-the-know traveler".
Jason Kalisman, Chairman of The Board of Directors at Morgans Hotel Group, stated, “The arrival of Delano to the Las Vegas Strip is a historic moment for Morgans. A Delano is so much more than just a physical structure; it is a special experience that transports guests into a world that combines fantasy and modern luxury. We are both excited and honored to be partnering with MGM Resorts International, a leader in hospitality and entertainment, in bringing this unique lifestyle brand to the Las Vegas Strip.”
The Delano’s 1,117 guest rooms offer plush one bedroom suites with an underwater vibe combined with bold fixtures and technology. Inside the resort the guests will find four bars and restaurants including Della's Kitchen, an urban eatery that features a menu with locally sourced healthy ingredients. Dine at the top of the skyline at Rivea, a restaurant serving French and Italian cuisine by chef Alain Ducasse.
Guests can relax in the BATHHOUSE Spa with a menu of global treatments, hot-and-cold plunge pools, eucalyptus steam rooms, redwood saunas and relaxation lounges. Delano also offers guests the opportunity to bring their four-legged friends along to a dog-friendly suite. Amenities for furry friends include a doggie menu, butler services and daily walks and brushing. The Delano plans to introduce the Delano Beach Club and pool in 2015.
