The fatal political disease of inverted values and its inherent symptom of calling what is right wrong, and vice versa, has now infected the Defense Department. Up until now the Obama administration's relentless Orwellian work in redefining common terms in order to brainwash impressionable minds into accepting abject government tyranny was confined to Homeland Security, the Justice Department, and the State Department.
But Judicial Watch has obtained documents from the Department of Defense (DOD) through a freedom of information act request that show that the DOD is now heavily influenced by the Obama Orwellian newspeak, much to the dismay of patriots who wish to preserve the Constitution and human liberty.
The document is a training manual that is used to educate DOD employees. The manual states that those citizens who are concerned with individual liberties, states' rights, and "how to make the world a better place" are potential extremists who likely belong to hate groups.
A copy of the entire document can be accessed here.
And guess who is cited as the source for the material used in the training manual. The infamous Southern Poverty Law Center of Montgomery, Alabama that is well known to be itself an extremist Left wing group that advances its collectivist ideology by tarnishing conservative groups, including the tea party, with the charge of being "potential terrorists."
Gun owners and those who oppose Islamic extremism are two of the favorite targets of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
A few key examples of statements in the manual are provided by Judicial Watch:
The document defines extremists as “a person who advocates the use of force or violence; advocates supremacist causes based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or national origin; or otherwise engages to illegally deprive individuals or groups of their civil rights.”
Under a section labeled “Extremist Ideologies” the document states, “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”
Note the newspeak that almost leaps off of the page. The Founding Fathers who fought to bring liberty to the world are actually adherents of extremist ideology. And all extremists advocate violence and supremacist causes based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or national origin, and work toward depriving individuals of the their rights. And the Founders did this how? By giving to multithousands the opportunity to be free from those who worked to deprive them of such liberties? The entire notion in the DOD manual would be laughable were it not dead serious.
But the most enraging statement in the manual is this:
“Nowadays,” the manual explains, “instead of dressing in sheets or publicly espousing hate messages, many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.”
Further, in 2009 and 2011 Infowars obtained documents from the U.S. government that referred to the Founding Fathers as terrorists. Americans who are concerned about growing centralized government authority were called extreme right wing terrorists. Note that it is not enough to call patriots extremists. They must now be maligned, libeled, and slandered with the word "terrorist."
The fact that this mindset has infested the DOD is cause for great alarm. Such a fact shows that the Obama collectivist world view has not only set up shop in the White House but throughout the federal government.
And the most ominous aspect of the spreading cancer is that just prior to exterminating those who form the opposition, the collectivist must first malign and destroy the reputations of its enemies, attempting to sway public opinion against those who love liberty and want all other citizens to love it.
What possibly could be next other than mass graves of citizens who have been shot in the head by government operatives or burned to a crisp in the ovens?
An extreme charge you say? Well, when you call me a terrorist, I am not surprised by anything you do, including mass murder of citizens.
