There's no place on Earth better to celebrate Mardi Gras for month's at a time than the Universal Orlando resort. While you could spend the event in New Orleans or Brazil for a day, at Universal Orlando, on select nights from Feb. 9 - April 20, you can party with the best bands, food, and more over and over again!
If you're a fan of daytime soap operas, the event will have special meaning for you on Saturday, Feb. 23, when stars of NBC’s daytime drama “Days of Our Lives” will attend a fan event at Universal Orlando Resort. Fans of the hit series will have the chance to meet many of their favorite stars of the show during autograph signings and a Q&A session.
These events will happen throughout Universal Orlando Resort, including Universal CityWalk and Universal Studios Florida (theme park admission required).
Stars in attendance will be: James Scott, John Aniston, Arianne Zucker, Shawn Christian, Eric Martsolf, Peggy McCay, Kate Mansi, Camila Banus, Galen Gering and Casey Deidrick.
Later that evening, fans can see their favorite stars toss beads from a dazzling float during Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras parade.
If you want to plan your day around the Days of Our Lives cast schedule, it is listed below: (schedule subject to change)
- 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.: Autograph signing at Universal CityWalk
- 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.: Autograph signing at Universal CityWalk
- 3:45 – 4:45 p.m.: Cast Q&A session at Universal Studios Florida (Animal Actors Theater)
- 7:45 p.m.: Mardi Gras parade featuring “Days of Our Lives” cast at Universal Studios Florida
