One of the major newspapers of record in the U.K. is reporting the story of the high number of ObamaCare wavers issued to Nancy Pelosi’s California Congressional district, to which Governor Sarah Palin reacted by exclaiming ‘unflippingbelievable ’
The wavers exempt certain businesses, labor unions, and large corporations from having to implement the new healthcare mandate for one year. Extensions are available yearly until the year 2014. Obama and company have been busy handing out these wavers, to the tune of 204 doled out in the month of April alone. 38 out of the 204 were given to Obama-friendly nightclubs and restaurants in Nancy Pelosi’s district, despite the fact that it was Pelosi who along with Harry Reid and Barack Obama were adamant about shoving ObamaCare down the throats of the citizens although the new law was and still is highly unpopular.
31 wavers were issued to labor unions that also insisted that the new healthcare law be passed over the objections of most citizens. Yet the unions lobbied the Administration to exempt themselves from the law they made sure the rest of us are forced to endure.
Another 27 wavers were issued to pharmaceutical and health care companies, many of whom also pushed hard for the government takeover of medical care. Apparently the new law applies to everyone except those who lobbied for this socialistic monstrosity..
But the thing that is so deeply disturbing about the Pelosi deal for companies in her district is that she actively pursued the exemptions personally, although she was the very one arguing with a holier-than-thou attitude that this law must be passed one way or another, and urged clergy to help her lobby for it because ‘it is consistent with the teachings of our faith,’ and other such pure baloney.
After all of that, Pelosi turns around and personally lobbies the Administration to grant 38 exemptions to businesses in her district that will not have to abide by the law she shoved down the citizens’ throats.
Enter Sarah Palin.
According to the Daily Mail, Palin was incensed:
The Daily Caller reported that when Palin found out about the Pelosi deal her response was to label the statistics as 'corrupt.' In an email she said: 'Unflippingbelievable. No, wait, it is believable. Seriously, this is corrupt. 'And anyone who still supports the Pelosi-Reid-Obama agenda of centralized government takeovers of the free market and the corresponding crony capitalism is, in my book, complicit.'
Mega-dittos to Palin's assessment..
But then, most Americans are now awake from their long sleep to realize that corruption is the signature of this Administration and the Democrats in Congress. To turn the tables on Pelosi, it is unconscionable, according to the principles of our faith, to allow this sort of overt, blatant, and arrogant corruption and graft to continue to hold sway in the highest offices in the land.
2012 is the year for massive change. If it does not happen, we all can kiss America goodbye for good.
