Crowned Ceratok is one of the newest Green cards from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert "Magic: The Gathering" expansion set "Gatecrash." Featured in the "Simic Synthesis" intro pack, Crowned Ceratok gives evolve decks the power to punch through defenses and deal combat damage to your opponents thanks to trample.

The best way to calm a rampaging ceratok is to wait until it dies of natural causes.

What's the use of a 6/6 Cloudfin Raptor, Experiment One, or Gyre Sage if your opponent can just chump block it with tokens all day? Crowned Ceratok lets your evolve creatures like Adaptive Snapjaw break past your opponent's creatures and deal trample damage to your adversary. Crowned Ceratok pairs up quite well with Master Biomancer or Prime Speaker Zegana.
Crowned Ceratok doesn't need to be played in a Simic deck to make an impact on the game. A 4/3 trampler for four mana makes a great addition to Gruul decks that can pump it with Rubblehulk to deliver the killing blow.
