For most families Disneyland is the place to go when the kids are out of school or it’s vacation time, but for the Tonya Mickesh and Jeff Reitz it's a little bit more. The couple went to the Orange County theme park every day in 2012 to enjoy life and play at the Happiest Place on Earth. On Monday the “Disneyland Couple” as the two are affectionately called revealed to the Orange County Register that for 2013, they might not be going every day as the desire hang with Mickey Mouse isn't as intense.
Originally unemployed during the first part of the year, the couple didn't have restrictions or obligations and found the theme park a perfect location for their mutual interest. As the year progressed, so did opportunities and both ended up going to work, but sometimes that meant hitting the park at different times.
While the couple is might not be checking out the park in 2013 as much, they got a heck of a deal in 2012 for the price of admission. Since they both had annual passes in 2012 that even covered the parking, the couple ended up paying only $1.77 a day to play with Mickey and all his pals. Of course that doesn't include any food or drinks bought, but it sure does beat the cost of daily admission which is $87 dollars when the ticket is purchased for one day and definitely is a bargain.
As Disneyland fans can only admire the excitement of going every day, there had to be some pitfalls too. Fighting the crowds in the middle of summer had to be hard and then the really rainy days probably weren't easy either. However, since it is a magical place there isn't any doubt it was very special in a different way.
