The Sun-Sentinel reports a story about an overly excited sign spinner who found himself in trouble with the law. On Tuesday afternoon, a deputy arrested a West Palm sign spinner named Ryan Brown, 22, after a driver told the deputy that Brown was dancing in the street and distracting drivers.
Hector Peart, Brown’s employer, said that Brown enjoys dancing and didn’t approve of Brown’s arrest. Peart owns Cornerstone Tile and Flooring.
The driver who contacted the deputy said Brown was stepping off the median and dancing in the intersection. The arresting deputy’s report said Brown became belligerent after the deputy approached him.
Brown referred to himself as a working man and began using profanity. The deputy also reported that Brown tried to reach into his pocket after being warned not to do so. The deputy arrested Brown and hauled him down to the Palm Beach County jail. Police released Brown the same day.
