This is the second time in less than a year that Chef Keefer will be cooking at the James Beard House, considered one of the culinary pinnacles in any chef’s career.

It was last May when Keefer was in transition as Executive Chef of Birroteca to taking over the top toque at the Fork & Wrench that he, along with other Baltimore chefs/restaurants presented “Chesapeake Bounty” at the Beard House. I was lucky enough to make it to New York to enjoy and gloat over our hometown chefs. You can read my full story at BMoreMedia.com and enjoy the following excerpt:

“Cooking at the James Beard House is a rite of passage for many chefs, something that only happens for a select few,” says Baltimore’s Adam Borden, managing director of private equity firm Bradmer Foods. Borden is a former James Beard Foundation Programming Committee member, and worked with a number of chefs around the country to plan and execute their dinners in New York.
