PBS Widget: True account or not? Has it stopped? Not according to Matt Simmons.
As oil reaches the upper layer of the Gulf waters, its heavy toxicity will be released, and as it comes ashore over the coming months, people still in the region will be more impacted than they already are. There will be a heavy toll on human life according to world renown oil industry expert and whistleblower who called the plugged hole a "sham."
At a Camden, Maine meeting, attendees heard Matthew Simmons explain how BP knowingly failed to respond appropriately and then lied; how TV participated in a massive psyop helping BP; and how the worst on human health is yet to come according to Christine Parrish in The Free Press.
"There is no way BP would not know they were misleading everyone," said Simmons.
"They would have to be deaf, dumb, and blind and they're not. These are smart guys."
He told MNSBC today that BP is lying because it it acknowledges the truth, "they’ll go to jail." (See Yotube below)
Simmons has been blowing the whistle on the oil giant since shortly after its explosion. He experienced the same heavy-handed bullying all whistleblowers do.
A standard operating procedure that corporate hired thugs use is the discrediting of truth-espousing leaders providing information in the best interest of the public. The media is a common tool for achieving this. For weeks, Simmons has faced dozens if not hundreds of media reports naming him, "Dr. Doom."
Parrish highlights that just last week, "Fortune magazine's headline to its June 9 interview with Simmons read, 'The Gulf Coast Oil Spill's Dr. Doom,'"
That is just another spoke in the Gulf psyop wheel that just keeps on rolling and churning over the public to oppress, control and worse. It's the same psychology used as the foundation of television and mainstream press - all designed to fool the public without it knowing.
TV has been fooling the public since the beginning of the Gulf catastrophe and government has allowed it according to Simmons.
Parish writes that Simmons said BP has misled the public and government "into focusing on a smaller spill at the site of the oil riser that viewers can see on television. It looks big on cameras... but the plume of oil is only six feet high. The oil riser is attached to the sunken oil rig, not to the oil well itself... What is coming out of the riser, which is about a mile long, is not coming from the well itself."
Simmons said, "Keep in mind when the well blew, the rig caught fire and the guy at the joystick on the rig moved the rig away from the well so people could jump off... Then the water boats pushed the rig farther from the well," quotes Parish.
As he has previously explained, contradictory to mainstream news an TV, "the real blowout as an open hole gushing 120,000 barrels of toxic crude every day below the surface of the Gulf six or seven miles away from the riser. And BP is ignoring it."
Simmons again explained, "What you are seeing on television, what BP is saying about relief wells . . . that's a total ruse," according to Parish.
The real blowout, according to the whistleblower is "an open hole gushing 120,000 barrels of toxic crude every day below the surface of the Gulf six or seven miles away from the riser - and BP is ignoring it" reports Parish.
"Any other company would have fessed up right away and called this what it was: a tragedy and a national emergency."
A far as the newly plugged hole? Another sham according to Simmons.
Parish reports, "Simmons also does not believe the relief well will work to divert the pressure from the original well so it can be plugged with mud and cement.
"It's a sham," he said. "Relief wells only work if there is casing in the hole."
