This week in Catholic, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League is offended. Last week he was offended by Lady Gaga and New York’s Empire State Building. The week before that, he was offended by Comedy Central. This week Donohue is still offended at the Empire State Building, but he is also offended by comedian Louis C.K.
On Wednesday, Louis C.K. was a guest on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. In the short clip, Louis joked about the shortness of the segment and before the end of the segment joked that he didn’t even get a chance to say that the Pope f---ks little boys. Here is the clip courtesy of Comedy Central:

This is not the first time Louis C.K. joked about the Catholic sex scandals, which has been going on for a long time now. Here is a clip from one of Louis C.K.’s YouTube channel on the topic which dates back to 2007:
The fact is that the media has only just recently realized that the Catholic Church has been systematically protecting the sexual abuse of children by their priests. It is only recently that information has become available linking the Pope himself to such a cover-up. But these crimes have been going on for decades and most people have been well aware of it.
As for Donohue, since he got offended by the proposed Jesus cartoon, he has been keeping a watch on Comedy Central. This is why it is only Louis C.K.’s recent comments on the Daily Show that has earned Donohue’s scorn. In the Catholic League’s press release, Donohue even insinuates that Louis was interested in debating him and then he tried to take the high ground by denying such a debate. Yet Louis has expressed no interest in any kind of debate.
It seems that lately the only thing that doesn’t offend Catholic League president Bill Donohue is priests raping and sexually assaulting children and the Vatican’s systematic cover-up of those crimes.

This also isn't Louis C.K.'s first run-in with donohue and the Catholic League. A few years ago, TCL got all offended about something LCK did or said on his sitcom at the time. (I believe it was) Adam Carolla had Bill Donohue as a guest and he had Louis C.K. call in. LCK asked the Catholic League blowhard point blank what specifically about the episode was so offensive. You can probably guess what happened: Donohue had never watched the episode and had no idea what exactly it was that he was pretending to be offended about. Priceless!
I think I got enough of the details right for you to be able to look it up. It's a pretty funny interview. :-)
At some point or another, Catholics need to stop being so upset about everything. They got to kick children out of their privately owned and funded schools; when they found out there are children among their classrooms who has parents of the same sex and or were able to get married, take money from the flock, pay ZERO TAXES just to build so many churches (those could have been shelters for the homeless or something more worth having), before now, they got to be able to hide the really disturbing truth they had been and still are molesting young alter boys or the boys that are left alone with them. To try and defend themselves they get to claim gays sexually molest children. There's no doubt the Catholic Bishops and Priests are in yearning for the days when they could have sex with children and when the child told what happen; it would be treated as a lie because they are the good guys and would never hurt you. Well not anymore, hopefully.
Whay doesn't Stewart blow Louie already?
It's Bill Donohue. He's constantly offended by everything. He probably wakes up at dawn just to rage at the sunrise.
Donohue *loves* being offended. It's the only thing keeping his life interesting.
I'd never heard of Louis CK, but because of Bill Donohue, now I have. And I'm a fan. Thanks, Bill!
Thank you for this important article. I linked to it in one of my columns.
Ah, this church.... Always not admitting his faults... They have fear of the comedian too now... All the stupid things they did will be discovered, most are already.... they can't be denied forever
I just shared that video on Facebook, and a teacher of mine said he lost all the respect he had towards me. It kinda seems that I'm the one who made the video, got all the responsibility, but whatever.
