According to Fox 35, Casey Anthony, 22, and her lead defense attorney, Jose Baez, may have shared some intimate moments during jail visits.
Baez had been reprimanded in the past for hugging Anthony during one visit, which jail officials called social hugs. Some have told Fox 35 that during moments in court, Baez and Anthony may have been flirting with one another.
Anthony’s private investigator, Jim Hoover, is now telling investigators that on one occasion, Baez brought red licorice to the Orange County Jail. According to Hoover, Baez was sitting on one side of a piece of glass that had a hole in the middle of it, while Anthony was on the other side.
Hoover said, “…he [Baez] started eating on one side and you know, she [Anthony] was eating on the other side so it looked like they were kissing through the glass or something, you know…”
Hoover also claims that another private investigator, Dominic Casey told him that he went with Baez to the jail one night to see Anthony. Dominic Casey claims they were there for three hours and not once did Baez and Anthony speak about the case.
An Orange County spokesperson, Allen Moore, confirmed for Fox 35 that Dominic Casey had been to the jail with Baez to visit Anthony. But, Moore claims that Baez and Anthony were sitting in the same room and there was no glass between them.
Anthony’s trial for the murder of her daughter, Caylee Anthony, 2, is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 12.

As much as I cant stand either of these two, this licorice thing is baloney!
I heard when she was out on bond that she often went to his office for 6 hours at a time. That would cost $1800 to sit with a lawyer 6 hours! I'm sure she paid him with sex!
It is obvious that Casey has made some bad decisions. However, Casey knew she wasn't ready to be a responsible mother. She wanted to adopt the child out. Casey's mother bullied Casey into keeping her. Casey's mother is the guilty one in this case.
I've noticed a lot of affectionate "looks" between Casey Anthony and Baez. I just saw a photo this morning of his arm a little too close to her breast. Hummm??
If Baez is married he won't be for long with this kind of gossip.

Wow am I relieved to see that I was not the only one who noticed the flirting that was going on between Casey and Jose Baez! It was so obvious in the last court appearance that it almost make me puke! I really think that there is alot more going on between these two than they would like anyone to know. Casey is a manipulator and I can see her messing with her attorney to get her fees lessened!
I agree with you JoJo. I watched casey and baez in disbelief as the two of them shared looks and even hugs with one another. I am so relieved that alot of you feel the same way. I too believe she will do whatever she can to manipulate baez. dont worry, one way or another she will get hers. you watch.

I'm sure they've swapped spit on more than one occasion. If this guy is married, I doubt he'll be before this case is finished. He's not professional at all. Reminds me of the boss and his secretary, sitting on his lap - texting his phone messages. I don't think secretaries take dictation in this day and age.
I had a feeling that she was getting things going even with her attorney. The hours she spent at his office watching TV was something that I have never heard of. She is a piece of work that is for sure, whether she is guilty or not she is not all there. Which makes the whole thing super suspicious for sure. Where she might be going it looks like the guards will be having fun.
Guilty! Instead of focusing in the case..in which is a waste of time.. The evidence is there... she is just focusing in herself..we all know she has no life, drinking and sleeping with random men. I pray for her though because what she did has no forgiveness.
Too bad they won't be sharing a cell. Someone needs to get a cold water hose and separate them.
She will have her day in court, and once it is all said and done, Baez will drop off the circuit, just like Mark Gargaros (Scott Peterson) Baez is a tool trying to make a name for himself
CASEY ANTHONY IS QUITE A WHORE. I COULD ALMOST GUARANTEE SHE IS HAVING SEX WITH JOSE. THAT POOR BABY! SHE DID NOTHING WRONG EXCEPT FOR HAVING A NUTCASE FOR A MOM.
Slander and libel is all this amounts to. If any of you would actually read the article, you could see where the sheriff's dept basically says that this did not happen. No glass- and glass was a key part of the story. I cannot stand the fact that so many Americans just fall for anything that is told them and half of you fell for this hook, line, and sinker. Congrats on letting someone else tell you how to use your own brain- I'm sure your mothers are soooo proud...
Were they using the hole in the licorice to swap spit or so Jozo could blow some xanax down his little murdering prison babe's throat? Most pills don't fit through a licorice tube but xanax do. Zanny strikes again!
gypsyrose.... As far as I gathered it said that there was no glass between the two on the visit that Dominic Casey was there. Doesn't mean taht there wasn't glass at another time.
I cut that a little short but it said that Dominic Casey said they never talked about the case for the 3 hours he was there, in that sitting he didn't say anything about a glass. And again from what I read it seems like the Orange County spokesperson was just saying during the visit that Dominic Casey was there for that there was no glass. That doesn't mean that when Jim Hoover witnessed the licorice incident that there wasn't any glass. But that's just my take on what was said.
How bout Bozo being the mystery father..(just wondering)..Bozo and Casey are too close to each other. How Bozo hugs her so close to protect her from the media, How he cares for her..

OMG, I am relieved Im not the only one thinking there is something more going on between them! I could just feel and sometimes even tell there is a whole hell of a lot more going on than just a lawyer/client relationship!
Because she is a young woman and he's a relatively handsome man, is why he should be more professional to avoid any suspicions!
