Carney enrages Bieber, updates Twitter profile mocking singer

Carney enrages Bieber and his fans when he updates his Twitter profile to mock the popular singer on Feb. 17, 2013, and the bizarre feud is showing no sign of slowing down. TMZ reported that Carney's actions have resulted in a massive backlash against Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney.

The drummer for the Black Keys, 32, is waging an extended Twitter war against the Canadian pop star, 18. Although Carney started the feud when he publicly insulted Bieber, he is showing no sign of stopping his vicious campaign against the much younger solo artist, who is practically half Carney's age.

How did the Carney-Bieber feud begin? Carney started the feud when he insulted Justin Bieber in front of TMZ cameras last week. He said, "Grammys are for like music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy."

Justin Bieber, enraged by Carney's comment, responded via Twitter that Carney "should be slapped slapped around haha."

Carney made the latest move by changing his Twitter pic and profile again to poke fun at Justin Bieber. When will it end? It doesn't look like the Carney-Bieber feud will end in an apology anytime soon. For now, @patrickcarney's profile has been updated at least twice, and it currently shows a posed pic of Carney along with an updated blurb that reads, "official twitter for the actual verified Patrick Carney (formerly Justin Bieber). Drummer in the Black Keys. Dog groomer." Previously, it read, "official twitter for the actual verified Justin Bieber DOS virtual buddy," but it has since been changed. A photo of Bieber on Carney's profile has also been removed.
