Carey Mulligan and Oscar Isaac took centerstage as they attended the special screening of their film “Inside Llewyn Davis” at the Centrepiece Gala Supported by the Mayor of London during the 57th BFI London Film Festival at Odeon Leicester Square on October 15, 2013 in London, England.
Ms Mulligan, who plays the role of “Jean” in the film, looked lovely – no, seemed to be glowing – in her buttercup yellow strapless knee-length Dior dress which she teamed with grey-toed black pumps.
Costar Isaac, who plays the title role of “Llewyn Davis,” looked polished in his black suit, pale blue shirt and charcoal grey tie, teamed with oxblood oxfords. Veteran actor John Goodman, who plays “Roland Turner,” too looked dapper in his dark suit as did directors Ethan and Joel Coen.
Written and directed by Ethan Coen and Joel Coen, the 105-minute drama is about a week in the life of a young singer who navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene in 1961.
Also attending the “Inside Llewyn Davis” Centrepiece Gala were BFI London Film Festival director Clare Stewart, Imogen Poots,
“Inside Llewyn Davis” also stars Justin Timberlake, Ethan Phillips and Garrett Hedlund. Watch for it in theaters in the US by limited release on December 6, and nationwide on December 20. In the UK, the film is schedule for release on January 24. Meanwhile, enjoy the slideshow and video of their Q&A session at BFI…
