The 21-year-old British model and actress of “Anna Karenina” fame hit the Fendi runway in Milan donning a stylish fitted black winter coat with the furriest hoodie, teamed with monochrome white accessories including handbag, boots, socks and even gloves.

Though the furry little Karl Lagerfeld-like stuffed toy with black sunglasses, white collar and black necktie in Cara’s left hand stole the show. Or is it a little purse? It could easily be converted to a purse by taking out the stuffing and adding a zipper…

Fur plays a major role in this Fendi Fall/Winter collection, using a dark and neutral winter palette to include, black, grey, beige, brown, plum and dark green, with red, coral and even candy pink thrown in for a bit of cheer.

Expect to find chunky faux fur in a variety of colors – even pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle on a knee-length coat – and as fur trim to winter coats in the way of collars and hoodies and even in unusual ways on dresses to add interest to a simple sheath.

The jigsaw theme carries over to Fendi’s fabrics used for dresses, jackets and separates in a variety of color combinations. While there are some gauzy netted pieces in black, some of the fabrics/knits used seem to be spangled with gold, for a touch of glitz and models even embellished their outfits with fresh white orchids.

While Fendi’s boots come in all lengths, even thigh-high, the handbags are generally oversized and to be hand carried or worn over the forearm.
