Capcom on region-locking for Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set

Capcom officially announced that the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set will be coming to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. A curious fan recently asked Christian Svensson if any on the content in the bundle will be region-locked. To the best of our knowledge, the only things in the 25th anniversary set that won't work in other territories are the digital items for PS3. On X360, all of our discs are worldwide subs and the token codes are identical regardless of what territory you redeem them.

On PS3, the digital tokens are region specific. You would need to have a North American PSN account to redeem, download and install them.

The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price tag of $149.99 Capcom will be releasing the bundle for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on September 18th.
