Capcom comments on online split-screen possibility for Resident Evil 6 (Photos)

Just like Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6 will have an heavy emphasis on cooperative play with the campaign co-op and four-player mercenaries modes. A fan recently asked Capcom if the sequel will be support the online split-screen feature, which allows players to play split-screen simultaneously with others online. We'll have it for campaign co-op and mercs, but we haven't announced any other additional modes aside from those just yet.

Resident Evil 6 is currently being developed by Capcom, who touts the game as their biggest project yet.
