Check your cupboards, SpaghettiOs fans. Campbell's Soup is recalling almost 2,000 cans of SpaghettiOs with Meatballs due to a mix-up on the labels.
The company stated on Aug. 30, 2013 that 1,920 cans of the pasta with meatballs were accidentally shipped with labels that were supposed to be on Swanson's 100 percent Natural Chicken Broth.
Obviously you would notice the difference between chicken broth and SpaghettiOs with Meatballs, but just in case you were about to make soup with the chicken broth, finding out you had canned spaghetti instead would be a bit of surprise.
Campbell's was told about the mixup by two consumers who found the canned pasta in their cans of broth.
This prompted a recall of the product that was sold in the following states: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
How do you find out if you have SpaghettiOs inside a can labeled "Swanson's 100 percent Natural Chicken Broth"?
Check the bottom of the can for the following code: “EST. 4K, P-13” and a use-by date of Jan. 23, 2015.
The company states that there have been no reports of adverse events.
