Treyarch informed fans yesterday that the fourth season of League Play for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” officially began yesterday with the start of the new month. League Play is a feature introduced in “Black Ops 2” where players are given placement and compete for ladder ranking in several different categories. As gamer rise up the ranks, League Play automatically attempts to match them with similarly skilled opponents. Players can choose to compete either solo or as a league team.
Everyone starts with a hidden ranking that is updated every Sunday. These rankings place them in six divisions which are meant to determine a gamer’s skill level for game matching. These divisions start out with Bronze featuring the bottom 20% of players all the way up to the Masters division which encompasses only the top 2% of the current “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” player base.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is out no on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, and Nintendo’s Wii U. As of March 1, League Play Season 4 has officially started in the game.
