‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’ experiencing multiplayer issues on the Wii U (Photos)

Activision issued a statement late yesterday evening on the official “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” forums in order to inform fans that they are aware that several Wii U players are experiencing trouble connecting to the game’s multiplayer and zombie modes on the new Nintendo system. Developer Treyarch also tweeted fans that they are looking into the issue, stating the following.

We understand that a number of Wii U players are experiencing issues with MP. We’re working to address...stand by for updates.

While not as popular as the Xbox 360, PS3, or PC versions of the game, the Wii U version of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” still features a large player base who are affected by the current random network outages. Hopefully the issues will be sorted out by the end of the day.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is out now on all major systems. The current network issues are currently only affecting Wii U players of the game.
