Many of you are patiently waiting for Destiny's beta to open up later this year, but until then, Bungie is still dropping tidbits of information about Destiny, and we have some new crumbs to share with you today.
Recently, Bungie talked about a type of options players will have when it comes to taking part in stealth gameplay, as well as if there are going to be any rewards for people who have the chance to take part in Destiny's upcoming beta.
"If we told you that you could render yourself invisible and strike with a blade sheathed in the Traveler’s Light, would that be stealthy enough for you?"
"I’ve seen a couple of special rewards that have been set aside for people who play this game before it launches, officially. If you’re brave enough to be among the first to fight, the world will know about it," Bungie said.
It sounds like users of the beta will receive a t-shirt for participating and perhaps more, per Bungie's comment above.
Moving from the beta to E3 2014, Bungie teased whether or not Destiny will be making a trip to Los Angeles this year, and then spoke about Guardians being able to provide specialized support in Destiny.
"I just came from a conference room where we were trying to decide if we should go to E3 this year. What do you think? Should we do it?
"While some Guardians are built to be more aggressive than others, it could be said that every player of Destiny can fill a support role. That’s the essence of teamwork, after all.
"Our designers have conceived some intriguing ways to reward you for fighting alongside your friends, instead of just nearby them. It may surprise you to learn that you’ve seen these mechanics in action, but we’ve yet to see anyone call attention to them," Bungie said.
It's very hard to imagine Destiny will not be making an appearance at E3 2014. We fully expect them to bring some new gameplay and an impressive booth to E3 this year, especially since launch isn't until September.
