Bucky Covington is ready for the next musical chapter of his life, releasing his first single as an independent artist. Titled "Buzzin'," the song, written by Brad Hull and produced by Covington and Dale Oliver, serves the lead-in to his yet-untitled forthcoming EP, expected later this year.

The new track delivers to radio this week and offers a new vocal style for the singer.

Last year, Covington decided to make the transition to independent artist, following label deals with Lyric Street (which shut its doors in 2010) and E1 Music and two full-length albums. His last release was 2012's "Good Guys," which spawned two hits, "I Wanna Be That Feeling" and "Drinking Side of Country."

He also has three consecutive Top 10 hits to his credit: "A Different World," "I'll Walk," and "It's Good To Be Us"-- all releases for his self-titled debut album.

Covington is currently out on the road. Find out more info and to purchase tickets here.
