Entering the brunch ring today for the first time in Harbor East is Chazz-A Bronx Original. Known for its coal-fired oven pizzas, signature veal meatball and Italian fare, Chazz goes forward into the Saturday and Sunday brunch arena starting today at 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and the same hours on Sunday.
A la carte, one can chose from breakfast pizzas; steak and egg, smoked salmon and fresh fruit to brunch staples like Croque Madame and Belgian waffles. You can check out Chazz’s menu here on line. As with any good brunch there is booze, without it, brunch is just late breakfast as stated on their menu. Choose for $10 St Germain Mimosa pitchers, Sicilian Soda with lemon, Stoli Lemon, House Limoncello, San Pellegrino Limonata, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shot and more.
Co-owner Sergio Vitale and executive chef will be in the kitchen today kicking off their new brunch foray. Let me quote his Facebook page, “I'm so excited to launch brunch at Chazz, I can't sleep. I like brunch. I'm a brunch kinda guy. I can't wait for a service worthy of my insomnia.”
