A Bret Michaels meltdown recently took place over the singer being the first one fired on "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice." The surprising elimination occurred on just the first episode of the new season, this past Sunday on NBC.
As reported on March 4 by UPI.com, Michaels was the only cast member who had won a previous edition of "Celebrity Apprentice." However, Donald Trump decided he should be first to go in the latest edition. That leaves celebs including Gary Busey, Lil' Jon, Lisa Rinna, Dennis Rodman, Marilu Henner and Stephen Baldwin vying for the prize of Trump's celebrity apprentice.
The YouTube video clip shows Bret Michaels in the boardroom along with Trump, his daughter Ivanka, and Piers Morgan confronting him. Next to Bret are LaToya Jackson and Brande Roderick who chime in with their occasional thoughts. Trump notes that his one problem he had was understanding why Bret decided to come back again, after already winning once before. Trump said "psychologically it's awfully hard for me to pick you again." Bret said "I'm back here as a fighter, I'm back here as a winner." Trump told him "You are a winner, you're great. Bret, you're fired."
With that Michaels got up along with Roderick and Jackson to leave the boardroom, with his two cast members comforting him on the way out as Trump added, "Bret you're a great guy." In the moments after that, Bret got into the elevator as Trump told his daughter and Morgan, "Tough to let go of someone who raised that much money." Bret was shown departing the show in a car in the video clip, but Radar Online reported a source told them:
"It was a mess when Bret was told the news and filming was done. He couldn’t stop crying and even the producers were trying to comfort him. No one expected him to have a meltdown like that."
"The Celebrity Apprentice" is shown Sunday nights on NBC, with Roanoke viewers able to watch it on Cox Cable channel 10 for NBC affiliate WSLS.
