It's been interesting to hear the Twilight cast weigh in on current events surrounding the Saga's leads Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, especially since some have been so creative in dodging the issue.
The latest to weigh in are Judi Shekoni (Zafrina - Amazonian Coven) and Marisa Quinn (Huilen - South American Coven), who discussed whether and how the situation will impact ticket sales for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 while at a recent album release party in Hollywood.
Like most Twilight fans who responded to that very question here, the two think all will be well for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 come November.
Shekoni told Celebuzz in the attached video interview, “I think that Twilight is so big that nothing can affect it. I think it’s going to be a huge success and I think that everything that was shot will stand for itself. Quinn added, “I think by then that’s several months away and they [Pattinson and Stewart] are just such professionals and ultimately they’re amazing human beings. They’re wonderful people, and I think that it’s all going to work itself out.”“I think by then that’s several months away and they [Pattinson and Stewart] are just such professionals and ultimately they’re amazing human beings. The seminal voice on the issue so far, of course, has been director Bill Condon who said, "The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it’s not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that ... Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the Twilight movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon. Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it’s time that some of that respect be returned to them.”
