"Breaking Bad" will air an all-new episode later tonight on AMC. On Friday, Aug. 16, both IGN TV and Just Jared shared new comments made by Aaron Paul about his character and the end of the series. Paul stars as Jesse on the AMC drama.
On the mid-season premiere, Jesse made a surprising decision. He basically threw away his money. Paul talked about that decision with IGN TV, and it will have an impact on the remaining episodes. He said the following about his character's mindset at this point:
"It’s blood money to him. He just wants to get rid of it. So you obviously can tell the headspace he’s in right now. It’s probably the darkest we’ve seen him in… Maybe. But you know what I mean. So he wants to be as far away from any of this as possible. That money’s tainted, so he just wants to get rid of it."
There are only seven episodes of this AMC series left, and it will have a shocking ending. Production on the series has already wrapped, so Aaron Paul was able to tease about what is coming on the series finale. He said the following about the final "Breaking Bad" episode, according to Just Jared:
"We read it out loud … we read the teaser to ourselves. The plan was ‘start now and then after we read the teaser we’ll talk about it.’ It’s just so crazy what happens. We start talking about it. We read the whole thing playing different characters. At the end, Bryan read the line: ‘end of series.’ We just looked at each other for, no joke, probably 10 or 15 seconds with tears in our eyes, not wanting to believe it’s done."
"Breaking Bad" is ready to wrap, and it is still a series that has everyone talking each and every week. It is today's version of must-see television. "Breaking Bad" will continue to air its final season on Sunday nights on AMC.
