Brandi Glanville and Joyce Giraud have been butting heads all season on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The two attempted to patch things up a bit in Monday night's episode, but fans know there will only be so much peace between these two. Glanville shared some tidbits about all the drama in her Bravo blog on Jan. 13. Just what is the deal between these two?
Glanville explains that the tension with Joyce began a while back as a misunderstanding. Brandi had upset Lisa Vanderpump over a comment regarding her “Dancing With the Stars” stint. Lisa later snapped at Joyce during Carlton's luncheon. Glanville says that she knew Lisa's snipe was really due to her frustration with Brandi, and she tried to explain that later to Joyce.
Brandi then shares that rather than take the insight and move on, Joyce later exaggerated the incident and made it into a big deal with Lisa. Brandi says that Joyce tried to throw her under the bus with Vanderpump while the women were on the Thompson rooftop. This all left a bad taste in Glanville's mouth and it's been trouble ever since for these "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" ladies.
Since the "RHOBH" incident Brandi admits she has not necessarily been nice toward Joyce, but she says she's not a bully. Glanville writes that Giraud's labels are “really exaggerated and extreme” and Brandi even says that Joyce is the one playing the victim, not her. While the two women did hug at the end of their conversation in Monday's episode, it clearly wasn't heartfelt on Glanville's part. She says that she didn't like Joyce's hug “because you can't label me those horrible things and then expect me to hug you.”
Where do things stand now? Glanville writes, “It's over and at this point I am happy to be cordial.” Brandi adds that though the women supposedly put the drama behind them that day, Joyce has been talking about it all ever since and that obviously rubs her the wrong way.
Of course Joyce Giraud's take on all of the tension takes a different spin, and it's clear these two women will never be the best of friends. Is there more drama yet to come this season on “RHOBH”? That seems likely, given the parties involved. What do you think of the issues between Brandi Glanville and Joyce Giraud? New episodes of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” air Monday nights on Bravo.
